Who we are

An old-fashioned church with an open door

We are an Independent Baptist Church, that sings the old hymns and uses the King James Bible.

Our church began in the old “Averyville” neighbourhood of north-eastern Peoria, along Adams Street near the Illinois River. In the 1970s we moved across the river to Spring Bay Road, and kept the name.

    Nursery

    Birth–2 · Every service

    Quality care for infants and toddlers, so parents can sit under the preaching without worrying.

    Age 2–6th grade · Sundays 10:00 AM

    Sunday School classes, plus Patch the Pirate Club and Tiny Treasures on Wednesday evenings.

    Jr Church

    Sundays during the 11:00 AM service

    Children have their own service — singing and Bible teaching at their level — while the morning service meets in the auditorium.

    Teens

    7th–12th grade · Sundays 10:00 AM

    A thriving class with monthly activities, Teen Camp, youth conferences and mission trips.

    Adult Sunday School meets in the auditorium and is taught by Pastor Coyle.

    A church bus and a van run each week to pick up anyone who needs a ride to a service.
