Ministries for children and young people

    Nursery

    Birth–2 years · Every service

    The goal of our nursery ministry is to provide spiritual nurturing to infants and toddlers in an atmosphere that is deemed appropriate in all areas of safety, in developmentally age-appropriate surroundings, all while attaining a loving Christ-like approach to the family unit.

    We also want to be a blessing by providing quality care so that parents can be learning God’s Word without having to worry about their children. There are few ministries that have the impact of the nursery.

    Children

    Age 2–6th grade · Sundays 10:00 AM

    As a church, we invite children of all ages to be a part of the growing, thriving ministry of our church. We have Sunday School classes for ages 2 through 6th grade.

    On Wednesday evening we have a Patch the Pirate Club for K–5th grade children, and a Tiny Treasures class for children ages 2 through 4.

    Jr Church

    Sundays, during the 11:00 AM service

    While the morning service meets in the auditorium, children have a service of their own — singing and Bible teaching pitched at their level, in their own room.

    Teens

    7th–12th grade · Sundays 10:00 AM

    This thriving class is for young people from 7th to 12th grade. They meet every Sunday morning and have a variety of activities every month, along with special events through the year like Teen Camp, youth conferences and mission trips.

Ministries for adults

    College & Career

    Sundays 10:00 AM

    A Sunday School class for college students and young adults starting out in their careers.

    Adult Sunday School

    18 and up · Sundays 10:00 AM

    Adult Sunday School is for ages 18 and up. The class meets every Sunday morning in the auditorium and is taught by Pastor Coyle. They have bi-monthly activities as well.

    Bus Ministry

    Every week

    Each week we have a church bus as well as a van that picks up those who need a ride. The bus ministry has been part of this church for decades, with routes crisscrossing the Peoria area.

    Outreach & Visitation

    Saturdays 9:00 AM

    We have soul winning, plus bus and Sunday School visitation, at 9:00 AM on Saturday mornings. Anyone is welcome to come along.

Bus ministry

Request a ride to church

We run a church bus and a van every week. Tell us where you are and we’ll be in touch to work out a pickup.

Where your details go

Straight to the church office by email, and they are used only to arrange the bus route. We don’t share them with anyone, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

  • The bus and van run every week, all year.
  • There is no charge, and nothing is expected of you as a guest.
  • We’ll ring you back to confirm a time and place before the first pickup — nobody is collected without you knowing.
