How we handle your details

The short version

• This website itself sets no cookies and runs no tracking or analytics. The one outside service on it is Google Maps — see below.
• We only ever have your details if you type them into one of our forms.
• Form submissions go to the church office by email and are used only for the purpose you sent them.
• We never sell, rent or share your details, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

What we collect, and why

Nothing is collected automatically. The only information we hold is what you choose to give us through one of the forms on this site:

Contact form

Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. Used to reply to you, and for nothing else.

Bus rider request

Your name, phone number, a pickup address, and the names and ages of who will be riding. Used to arrange a place on a bus route. Because this can include a child’s home address, we treat it with particular care: it is seen only by the people organising the bus ministry, and it is deleted once the route is arranged.

Event sign-ups

Your name, email address, how many people are coming, and a mobile number if you give one. Used to get a rough headcount, to send you a confirmation, and to send a reminder a week before and the day before the event. Texts are sent only if you tick the box asking for them, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP. Sign-ups are deleted once the event has passed.

Where you came from

If you arrive from one of our adverts, the link may carry a tag saying which advert it was. If you then fill in a form, that tag is included so we can tell which adverts are useful. It records the advert, not you — there is no tracking of your browsing, on this site or anywhere else.

How submissions are handled

Forms on this site are processed by Netlify, the company that hosts the website. A submission is stored in Netlify’s form dashboard and forwarded to the church office by email. Netlify’s own handling of that data is described in Netlify’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). Access to the dashboard is limited to the people who run the site.

Event confirmations and reminders are sent by email from the church’s own Google account and, where you have asked for them, by text through Twilio, a messaging service. Twilio sees only the number and the message, and its handling of that is described in Twilio’s privacy notice (opens in a new tab).

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or any tracking of its own. A small note is kept in your browser’s own storage so the loading screen shows once per visit rather than on every page — it contains nothing about you and is never sent anywhere.

The maps on our visit, contact and event pages are provided by Google. Loading one of those pages loads the map from Google, and Google may set its own cookies when it does. That is the only third-party content on the site, and it is covered by Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab), not ours.

Things on this site that belong to someone else

• Maps are provided by Google (see above). Tapping a map offers directions in Apple Maps or Google Maps, on their own sites or apps.
• Online giving is handled by ChurchTrac, on their site. Anything you enter there is covered by their privacy policy, not ours.
• Facebook links go to our page on Facebook. This site does not load anything from Facebook, so following a link there is the first point at which Facebook knows you visited.

Your details, your call
